As the new owner of Legal Staffing Solutions, LLC, Marsha intends to be true to the company’s roots of personalized dedication to all those we serve. Whether you are an employer or candidate you can rest assured that your experience utilizing our firm and more importantly, your success, in fulfilling your career or company objective, is her number one concern.
Marsha began her legal career as a Receptionist in 1990 while a student at Rockhurst and she eventually became a Litigation Paralegal. Now, with several decades of experience working alongside our region’s top managing partners and legal executives, she is eager to assist your firm or company with hiring the best possible candidates. Marsha is also a strong advocate for job seekers, and she will use her depth of knowledge of our local market to assist you in making your next strategic career move.
Like her predecessor, Marsha understands that each client has a unique situation and she believes that finding the right fit is critical for cultivating a positive and successful work environment. Marsha has built her legal career based on integrity and trust and she will put her experience to work for you.
Marsha is born and raised in Kansas City and she loves this town. When not focused on work you will find her happily at home with her husband and son, preparing enormous meals for her extended family or, if it’s baseball season, you will very likely find her in the bleachers at little league or at “The K” cheering on the boys in blue!
Emily Branch, Founder & Recruiting Consultant
As the 2013 Founder of Legal Staffing Solutions, Emily Branch focuses on serving her clients – employers and candidates – in an ethical manner and with a common sense approach.
Emily began her career as a Document Clerk in 1996 in Kansas City while in college and eventually became a Litigation Paralegal upon graduation. With over two decades of experience in the Kansas City legal market, Emily uses her understanding of the industry to assist firms and companies in hiring the best available candidates and in helping job seekers open doors that are not currently open to them. She also assists companies seeking mergers and acquisitions by researching opportunities, identifying the best fits for each firm’s needs, and forging relationships.
Early 2020, Emily sold the company to Marsha Eddy, a longtime friend and colleague. Emily currently works as a part-time consultant to assist Marsha with the transition.
Emily understands that every client and situation is unique and believes that finding the right fit is critical for fostering a positive and successful work environment. She is known for focusing on quality over quantity and has implemented an individualized approach to recruitment that allows her to focus on each client’s specific goals. Her dedication to client service, knowledge of the business of law and network of relationships in the legal industry have all contributed greatly to her agency’s success.
Emily is an active supporter of the Midwest Innocence Project. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
